Do you bring or buy your lunch during the work week? How much money do you spend on food consumed during working hours?
When I commuted from my apartment to D.C. I would always bring my lunch. Now that I'm at home I usually just buy lunch at the Javaworks on the first floor and eat outside if the weather is nice. That is usually $7-8 a day and sometimes I get snacks from the vending machine (Snickers for breakfast!).
I got my grades: 5 A+'s and one B+. I've been bored over the break so I've been redoing some of my graphic design projects even though I got A's on them. :)=
Drew's coming to visit me in a couple days and I start classes on the 2nd. I also have to look for an apartment, hopefully everything will turn out alright with that.
Merry Christmas!

What's the most memorable building you've lived in?
Submitted by Shelly.
The house I've lived in since I was 3. I saw the empty lot, I saw them build the house, I remember helping my mom sweep the dust up before the house was finished.
Today I went to a graveyard to take pictures for my photography assignment. On the way there, we saw a sign for a War Reenactment. I thought "Hey, war, that would fit in with my 'death' topic assignment for photography". When we got there, it was just a small festival with people dressed up, knitting yarn and playing with canons. They told us they would recreate a battle at 3:30, so we walked around the park and I got a couple good pictures of dead corn stalks, which I hope turn out great.
At around 3:00, we headed towards the water, where the 'war' would take place. On the way there we saw a decomposed raccoon, which I shamefully took some pictures of. I don't know if I'll use those pictures for my theme, it definitely fits in, but everyone might be disgusted. I also took pictures of some clouds and water. (Which might fit in with a death/afterlife theme.)
The reenactment started at 3:30, and it was very...interesting. I had never seen one so I didn't know what to expect. One of the teenagers playing a British soldier, shouted "Can I die yet?" during the war. I took a couple pictures of the soldiers shooting guns and playing dead. All of those pictures seem a little too goofy to use for this assignment, but maybe I can use them for another assignment.
I'll try to scan some of the photos to post here after I develop them.

Some of the things in the photo include my Wacom tablet, CD-RW drives, webcam, headphones, my Aunt's CD's, picture I got at an antique store. And my computer and monitor, of course.
On Thurday, my photography teacher told us we need to shoot a couple rolls of film with a common theme to it. I was
thinking about "death" as a theme but I'm not sure which way I want to go with it.
I could do:
death : change
death : life/rebirth contrast
death : religion/ life after death
death : depression/ gloomy
I haven't decided yet, but I think I'm going to go to some graveyards tomorrow to look for interesting photographs.
How many pets have you owned in your lifetime? Tell us about them.

Millions. To keep this short(er) I'll list how the cats I've owned:
Buttons: Tabby/male. We had him when we lived at the beach. My mom got him from Kansas City when she moved out here. He disappeared a couple years later.
Puff: Orange/female. We got her and her sister Lucy after Jonathan was born. She was an outdoor cat. She loved pets and always had to lick your hand raw.
Lucy: Tabby-calico/female. She was a brave leader and always loved attention and pets. She always had a habit of biting fingers.
Candy: Calico/female. We got her from the pound and she was my baby when I was younger. I made her a room in my closet. When I was in the first grade, Candy had 4 adorable kittens with a fluffy orange stray that always hung around. She disappeared after we went to Kansas City one summer, maybe she was looking for us?
- Tom- stayed with us.
- Sweetie- went to someone my dad worked with.
- Panther- went to that same family my dad worked with.
- Orangie- went to someone in Baltimore.
Tom: Orange-white/male. He was one of Candy's kittens. He was very laid back and everyone loved him. He loved food and could never resist eating.
Rose: Black/female. She was a lovable diva. She was my cat and she loved to sleep and stay in my room.
Present animals:
Shashy: Black-white/female. We found her at KFC and decided to keep her after she scratched my brother (lol). (She doesn't like anyone picking her up.) She follows me around wherever I go and has a strange sheep-like meow.
Yellow Bastard: Orange-white/male. Last year, me and my mom saw an orange and white cat walking at the side of our yard along the same path Tom used to. Turns out it was a Tom lookalike, but he definitely wasn't as nice as Tom. (Hence his name.) He can be nice at times but still lives up to his name.
My first post on Vox. I just got my invitation to join today when I got home from school.
I've been really sick this past week. I had to leave class early because I had difficulty breathing and I kept coughing.
I may use vox to replace my livejournal, I just never feel like posting on there, there's too much stuff on it. I need to star anew!
All of my classes are going really well, I got into all of the classes I wanted to. I'm also taking more classes than I ever have before (6), I hope it doesn't get too hectic, it hasn't so far.
